Annotation tool memory

Currently, when editing an embedded image with the annotation tool, it doesn’t remember what the last setting on the tool was. Example, I like using the rectangle annotation to indicate the key area a person should be looking at in the image. However, every time I go to edit a different image, each time I have to select the color and border thickness. I’d love if the system simply remembered what the setting was last time I used each tool.
